Built 1905–1907 to a German architect’s design: granite walls, blue barrel-tile roof, fortress proportions. It served as the governor’s residence during the German lease and later hosted visiting heads of state. The joinery, fireplaces and furniture inside are largely original. 20 yuan, 10 for students.
