A late-Qing coastal fort whose centrepiece is a pair of 280 mm Krupp guns bought from Germany in 1894. One survives; the other was scrapped for steel in 1958. The emplacement is granite bound with sticky-rice mortar — it was built to take a warship’s shell. 25 yuan, and it sits right on the Island Ring Road.
