The wave-patterned black-and-white plaza at the centre of Macao's old town, joined to the Avenida by a pedestrian street of pastel colonial buildings. Together with the lanes behind it, this is the core of the UNESCO Historic Centre — a 10-minute walk from the Ruins of St Paul's, and busiest in the evening.
